15 Hilarious Doppelgangers of Celebrity Fashion at the Emmys -2015

Besides being about honouring the best of U.S prime time television shows as chosen by Academy of television Arts and Science, the 67th Annual Primetime Emmy awards also portrayed the fact that sometimes even the most iconic celebrities could commit fashion fluffs. Be it a dress that appeared notoriously copied from a Disney animated movie protagonist or some bearing resemblances to insect shelter and yet more which seemed stolen from street puppets, the Emmys red carpet was not remarkable enough a day to be enlisted in the frivolous world of fashion. Let us have a look at what the red carpet had in store for us.

  • Kernan Shipka

The Mad Men starrer quite known for her elegant sense of fashion did not quite sizzle at the Emmy with her Christian Dior dress. The yellow minidress with a sheer overlay and a skater designed skirt piece was not something supposed to be at least sported with a pair of pants!! She quite looked like a live mannequin bearing astonishing resemblance to the Disney character Belle from “Beauty and the Beast”.

  • Ricky Gervais

Now this was the last thing for Sir Ricky to do after comedy, direction, production, writing and music. His outfit looked totally stolen from American singer Robin thicke a.k.a Shudder’s “that grape juice” looks.

  • Laila Robins

That definitely is the dress which if segregated into pieces of identical shape and size would form the pages of a full-fledged colouring book.

  • Danielle Brooks

How can anyone forget the witch “Ursula” from the childhood Disney saga “The little Mermaid”!! None on earth would have expected such a wardrobe throwback from Danielle Brooks popular for playing “Taystee” of “Orange is the new Black” fame.

  • Julianne Hough

Spider webs on the body might seem quite repelling at the first thought but this two time professional champion of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars was very comfortable in the enticing black spider webbed floor length.

  • January Jones

Disney yet again! If Ursula and Belle were not enough, here we present you the little mermaid herself. Best known for playing “Betty Draper” in the series “Mad men”, January Jones took away Ariel’s fishtail while walking the Emmys red Carpet.

  • Johnny Ortiz

The 18 year old “American Crime” star looked like an acquaintance of “Evil Grimace” of McDonaldLand, who was mischievous for stealing milkshakes from the bakery.

  • Lena Headey

Now this is what we call a red carpet look. Well, No offence to the “Game of Thrones” actress but the gorgeous jewel-hue texture of her burgundy ball gown from Zuhair Murad fall’15 couture totally appeared like dragon scales.

  • Zoe Kazzan

Time for some illusion audience!! Make sure you don’t get “lost” in that evening gown ! Or should that be considered part of a magic eye poster? 😉

  • Teyonnah Parris

The dusky beauty known for being the first African American actress in the sets of “Mad Men” wore a “Hundred and one Dalmatians” print gown.

Teyonah Parris arrives at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

  • Tracee Ellis

The American actress and producer famous for “Reed between the lines”, “Girlfriends” and “Black-ish” looked like had a child’s castle tent spanning till her feet.

  • Alan Cummings

This is what Charlie chaplin would look like with some modifications of the present day stance.

  • Heidi Klum

Yellow and feathery like “Big Bird” of Sesame Street. This is what the German-American super model’s confusing piece from the house of Versace suggested.

  • Kerry Washington

She quite seemed to hold the night with her scandalously glittered dress from spring’15 collection. But it necessarily made it look like she’d be a name on Arya’s list.

  • Christine Marzano

Her revealing gown looked like taken from that “Gotye” music video.
